Using Bookmarks

OverDrive Media Console allows you to bookmark digital media. This enables you to close a title and/or quit the program, yet be able to return to the place you left off at a later time.

To use bookmarks, click on the 'Bookmarks...' button in the OverDrive Media Explorer window and choose one of the following options from the menu displayed:

• Select Add bookmark... to launch the 'Define Bookmark' dialog box. Use the 'Define Bookmark' dialog box to assign a name to the bookmark you are creating for future reference. In the 'Name:' field, type a bookmark name of your choosing, then click 'OK'.
  
  When you go to use this bookmark later, the name you assigned will be displayed.
• Select Manage bookmarks... to launch the 'Manage Bookmarks' dialog box. The 'Manage Bookmarks' dialog box displays a list of all bookmarks you have created for a given title. Use the 'Manage Bookmarks' dialog box to manage your bookmarks:
  
  
  • To change the name of a bookmark, click on the bookmark then click the 'Rename' button.
  • To delete a bookmark, click on the bookmark then click the 'Delete' button.
  
  
• If you have previously created a bookmark for a title, the bookmark will be displayed in the format 'Part x (mm:ss) - Name of Bookmark'. Click the desired bookmark to begin play at the associated point in the title.
